Within easy driving distance from major attractions in the Bluegrass, I-64 and I-75 and major airports, the Convention Center is perfect for events of all kinds. It sits at the cross roads of several major state roads, running north, south, east and west, and Frankfort has clearly marked signs directing the way.

The Convention Center is adjacent to one of Frankfort's major hotels and within an hours drive of My Old Kentucky Home, Keeneland Race Course, Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Horse Park, historic Harrodsburg, Danville and Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, and some of the Bluegrass's most scenic wonders. Opportunities abound for pairing events at the center with spectacular Kentucky attractions and scenery.

From Lexington, KY: 

Take I-64 West to Frankfort Exit 53B (US 127 North).  Take US 127 North approximately 5.5 miles.  You will see Capital Plaza Hotel (formally the Holiday Inn).  The Frankfort Convention Center is one block behind the hotel. 

From Louisville, KY: 

Take I-64 East to Frankfort Exit 53B (US 127 North).  Take US 127 North approximately 5.5 miles.  You will see Capital Plaza Hotel (formally Holiday Inn).  The Frankfort Convention Center is one block behind the hotel.
